TAIERI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY

At. the monthly meeting of the Taien Agricultural Society it was decided, owing to war conditions, to abandon the annual show' this year. There was an attendance of 26 members, over whom Mr G. B. Nicliol presided. Mr R. A. Orange was granted leave ct absence while on military duties. The president called for an expression of opinion from members respecting abandonment of the annual meeting of the Royal Agricultural Society, and it w'as decided to vote against it.
