MAIL FOR THE TROOPS

BASE POST OFFICE IN LONDON (N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent.) LONDON, May 7. The New Zealand Army Base Post Office in London has increased its staff of 14 to 22. It despatched 59,220 letters, 35,700 newspapers, and 2250 parcels during April. It is working smoothly and efficiently, and has speeded up the delivery of mail to the men of all the forces.

Sergeant W. A. Ross, of Christchurch, supervises the staff, which comprises eight men of the Forestry Unit and 14 women.
