MOSGIEL BOROUGH COUNCIL

The monthly meeting jof the Mosgiel. Borough Council was held', last night. The Mayor (Mr W. P. Hartstonge) presided, and Crs W. P. Dyer, J. S; McCartney, J. S. Blackie, T Gibson and H. ,C. Connor were present. , A motion of sympathy (With the relatives of ex-Cr H. Miller was carried. The officer, commancSng, the sth L.A.P.V. Regiment. Military Camp, Wingatui, wrote thanking the council for the use of the Mosgiel recreation facilities. The offer was much; appreciated.—.
