DAILY INTERCESSION
FOR ABSENT ONES Hear us we pray Thee, when we cry to Thee for those who have gone from our homes to the battle. Be Thou their shield that, they may be brave soldiers of Jesus Christ, fighting for righteousness, liberty and peace. Keep them true to their best thoughts; and amidst danger and suffering may they commit themselves to Thee in faith and love. In Thy great mercy spare them; and if it please Thie may we meet ' again: through Jesus Christ’our Lord.
