DISCUSSION IN AMERICA PACIFIC WAR PROBLEMS (Rec. 0:30 a.m.) RUGBY, Jan: .28. The Netherlands Foreign Minister, Dr van Kleffens, is on his way to Washington to confer with the American and Allied authorities on problems concerning warfare in the Pacific. He also hopes to have the opportunity to study the American trends of opinion on post-war problems. The Lieutenant Governor-General of the Netherlands East Indies. Dr H. J. van Mook. is already in Washington, and Major-general Dyxhoorn and Rearadmiral Termijtelen. Chief of the Netherlands Naval Staff, also went there from London. Dr E Michiels van Verduynen, the Netherlands Minister in London will be in charge of foreign affairs during the absence of Dr van Kleffens.
