MR G. G. SAMSON IMPORTANT WAR WORK Intimation that his son-. Mr George Gavin Samson, who was recently killed in an aircraft accident in England, was. at the time of his death, engaged in work of national importance is contained in a cablegram which has been received by Mr J. M. Samson, of Dunedin, from the Minister of Aircraft Production, to the research department of which the deceased had been attached for some time.

The cablegram reads: "I have learned with the deepest regret of the tragic accident to your son, George Gavin Balsille Samson, in a flying accident. As Minister of Aircraft Production. I know that the work on which he was engaged was directly increasing the efficiency and fighting power of the Royal Air Force. I send you my most sincere sympathy.— Moore Brabazon."
