UNIONISM AND NATIONAL EFFORT
TO THE EDITOR Sir, —I am a student free to do some work in the vacation. I got a job in a wool store. After three days along came a union secretary who said, "Join the union or get out." I got out. This is hardly in accordance w:th the Government's constant plea for a national effort.—l am, etc.. Dunedin, November 22. Student.
