AWARE OF WAR DANGER (Rec. 11 p.m.) WASHINGTON. Nov. 22. The American people are aware that at any moment war may be forced upon us, said the Under-Secretary of State, Mr Sumner Welles, in an article in the official Department of Commerce Magazine. " The nation must spare no sacrifice," he said, "to, achieve the final defeat of Hitlerism and all that evil term implies. We have no doubt of the ultimate victory." Three of the most prominent isolationists assailed the Navy Department's censorship policy in withholding news of the sinking of Axis raiders by American warships. Senator Nye said: "If the country knew all we were doing they would accept the sinkings of our own ships as the logical result, of this Presidential war.
