DAILY INTERCESSION

Have we not all one Father? Hath ndt one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, profaning the covenant of our fathers? (Malachi ii: 10). Eternal Father, strong to save, Father of the spirits of all flesh, the strife and hatreds of Thy human children must cause Thee anguish and move Thee to infinite pity. For Thou hast given them the dangerous gift of freedom that they may be Thy willing children, not cowed bondslaves, loved, loving the Lord their God with all their heart, and their neighbours as children in the same holy family of the sons of God. Thou hast inspired the sages and seers of old with visions of a world when “ man to man the world o’er shall brothers be,” when “the war drums beat no longer and the battle flags are furled.” Thou h(ist revealed to Thy saints the Celestial City, Whose architect and builder is God, and Thou sent Thy Son as Son of Man. May Thy Kingdom Come, and speedily.
