AUCKLAND. Sept. 18. The Auckland Harbour Board has arranged the issue of a loan of £200.000. being the second issue of the 1937 loan of £l.-000.000. It is for an export wharf and related operations. The period is fixed at 30 years, the interest at 3:1 per cent., with sinking fund of 2 per cent, annually. The issue, which is now open, is in £IOO debentures. PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE Estates of a value of £540,564 were accepted for administration by the Public Trustee during the month of August. Grants of administration made by the court in favour of (he Public Trustee numbered 230 for the month, and 1162 new wills appointing the Public Trustee executor were prepared on behalf of testators and lodged for safe custody, and 370 existing wills were revised to provide for changes desired by testators. Hoggets, which comprised tne bulk of the yarding, met with good competition, and a total clearance was effected at satisfactory rates.
