SYRIAN CABINET
RESIGNATION ANNOUNCED BEIRUT, (Rec. 0.30 a.m.) Sept. 16. The Syrian Cabinet has resigned, and General Catroux has appointed a former Premier, M. Klhassani, as President. The new President, in his first declaration said: "We have entered the circle of the great Allied democracies, and Syria will strengthen her ties of friendship with Free France."
