NO QUISLINGS
"Behind the Polish soldiers who are fighting with the peoples of the British Empire at sea, in the air,. on the rocky shores of Scotland, in Russia and in the Western Desert, there are many millions of a united Polish people, people who. in spite of their sufferings and the German-endeavours, have never produced any Quisling willing to co-operate with the German masters," said Count K. Wodzicki, Polish Consul-general, when addressing the New Zealand Institute of Public Administration in Wellington a few days ago.
" These courageous people, under the penalty of many years of hard labour, or even under the threat of death, listen every day and night to the Polish 8.8. C. broadcasts, and I can assure you that, in spite of nearly 40.000 Gestapo men, they are well organised to give at a given time a hot reception to the German hordes. These people know very well that we have not only to win this war, but also to win a lasting peace in which they will share their part in an intercourse of the new free family of nations."
