MOTOR UNION

NORTH ISLAND CONFERENCE (P.A.) ' NAPIER, Aug. 30. It was decided at the conference of the North Island Motor Union to hold next year's conference at New Plymouth, the Invitation of the Automobile Association (Taranaki) being accepted. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr J. H. Edmundson (Napier); vice-presi-dents. Messrs A. Grayson (Auckland) and W. T. Guild (Taranaki); council —Messrs F. G. Farrell (Auckland), W. A. O'Callaghan (South Taranaki), P. D. England (Wanganui), W. H. Brown (Manawatu), H. W. Roydhouse (Wairarapa) and F. Palliser (Wellington), and Dr W. R. Fitzgerald (Hawke's Bay). ' '
