COMMUNITY SING

The weekly community sing will be held in the Strand Theatre on Friday. Victory badges will be procurable at the stall and in the theatre, and purchasers may give any amount Miss Jean McLay will make her first appearance, and will sing "Here in the Quiet Hills' and 'Bells Across the Meadows." Proceeds are for the relief of distress in Great Britain, and donations may be sent to Mr J. F Himburg, care Begg's Last week almosl £SO was received, and donations will be acknowledged. Mr H. P Desmoulini will be the leader and Mr A Pettitl will be at the piano. Mrs Mclntyre, who has charge of the stall, would be pleased to receive flowers and goods.
