PERSECUTION OF POLES

A NUMBER EXECUTED OTHERS SENT TO CAMPS (Rec. 9.30 p.m.) TORONTO, Apl. 28. German persecution of Poles has broken out anew, said General Sikorski. He lately had very sad news from Poland of more Poles being executed and more being sent to concentration camps. General Sikorski described the Balkan events as important, but not allimportant. Mastery of the Mediterranean will be a matter of much more weight and the result of the Battle of the Atlantic will be the decisive element in the war.
