; EASTERLY WINDS Forecast for Otago. —The following official weather forecast for Otago, covering the ensuing 24 hours, was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington:— Moderate, variable winds. Easterly directions predominating. Weather cloudy, with morning fogs and coastal drizzle. Temperatures cool, seas slight. Further Outlook.—Little change.' Dominion Forecast. —Weather fair at first in western districts of the South Island. Otherwise cloudy and at times misty, with scattered drizzle over the northern half of the North Island and extending southward to northern portions. of the South Island. Temperatures cool to moderate. in Dunedin.— Misty rain with no wind and cool temperatures were experienced yesterday. The maximum temperature was 50 degrees and the barometer fell slightly to 30.33 Inches (1027 millibars), which was the reading at midnight.
