DAILY INTERCESSION

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah xl, 29-31). Eternal God, we pray for the young men of our Empire, who, with gallant and selfless courage, mount up with wings as eagles to defend the land that cradled our culture. If some must die, grant that their sacrifice shall not be in vain. May those ivho live, in Motherland or Daughter Countries, ever defend freedom, truth, and justice, waiting upon Thee, Who art the source of ,i ll good things.
