ORPHANS’ CLUB

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Dunedin Orphans’ Club was held last night, Bro. A, Macdonald presiding over a large attendance of members. A feature of the evening was an address by Bro R. J. Laurenson on the world’s oil production and output, with particular reference to the supplies available to Great Britain for the continuance of the war. Items were given by Bros. D F Inglis, J McFariane, W Stevenson. G, MacDonald, M. Johnson, I, J. Templelon. N M. Colvin, A. Macdonald and R. Wai’d (Tamaki Orphans’ Club) The club orchestra, under Bro. J Clark, provided several selections.
