CZECHOSLOVAK ARMY

FIGHTING WITH ALLIES EXAMPLE TO EUROPE (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, June 16. In a message to the Czechoslovakian Republic, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Information (Mr Harold Nicholson) recalled the confidence and enthusiasm on a day during the last war when the birth, of Czechoslovakia, which at one time seemed an impossible dream, became a reality. "In this hour of doubt and suffering, I look forward with confidence to the day when once again the Czechs and Slovaks will be restored to liberty and when once again this great republic will become an example to Europe,” he said. “I regard it as a pledge of this determination that the Czechoslovak National Committee should have addressed to the Prime Ministers of France and Britain so courageous and encouraging a message, and that the Czechoslovak Army once again is fighting by the side of its allies.”
