ST. CLAIR CARNIVAL

To-night will offer the last opportunity of visiting the popular openair carnival at St. Clair, and there should be an excellent crowd to bring it to a successful conclusion. This carnival has again proved itself popular with the public, and entertainment is available to cater for all tastes. The amusement devices are being well supported, and there is an abundance of games at which to try one’s skill. Ice cream and refreshment stalls have merited a large measure of support. The floodlighting of the breakers so as to permit the life saving members to entertain the crowd, and also the illuminations of the Esplanade and the carnival, have caused favourable comment. This carnival is worthy of support, as the, profits enable the committee of the Improvement Association to continue its good work for the St. Clair Beach.
