YOUNG MAN CHARGED TWO WEEKS’ IMPRISONMENT (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 30. Francis Herbert Mcivor, a lead moulder, aged 21, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment by Mr A. M. Goulding, S.M., in the Petone Police Court to-day on a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car, and his licence was suspended for a vear. The police said the accused s car overturned in the main street of Petone at 0.24 on Sunday morning. The accused righted it, but it stalled, and the police found that the accused was intoxicated. THREE WEEKS IN GAOL (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, Oct. 30. Arrested on Saturday night for being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a car in Karangahape road, John Neville Crowlc. aged 34, a labourer, pleaded guilty. He also pleaded guilty to a charge of having no licence. A sentence of three weeks’ imprisonment was imposed
