LAWN TENNIS
TAIERI PLAINS SUB-ASSOCIATION The annual meeting of the Taieri Plains Lawn Tennis Sub-association was held at Allahton last Tuesday. The officers were elected as follows: —President, Mr W. Kofoed; secretary, Mr J. Nichol. Mr Allan Miller was elected an honorary life member. _ ■ It was decided to hold a competition, even though only three teams were affiliated. The draw for the first round is as follows (home teams first):— November 11: Allanton v. Momona. Berwick a bye. November 25: Momona v. Berwick, Allanton a bye. December 2; Berwick v., Allanton, Momona a bye.
