HALLOWE’EN CONCERT

SECOND CROWDED HOUSE Another crowded house greeted the second and final presentation of the Burns Club’s Hallowe'en Concert in His Majesty’s Theatre last night. The programme is presented in two ingeniously contrived scenes and the entertainment runs on from item to item, the continuity being contrived by natural dialogue and occasional byplay. The first half of the programme is set against- the pier front of the fishing township of Arbroath. Hare a typical crowd is gathered to while away an hour in gossip, song, and dance. In the second half, the scene changes to the best room of the house of one of the owners of a fishing fleet, where'another typical entertainment is provided. Everything goes with ■ a swing and audience and players alike seemed to enjoy themselves tp.the full.
