REDUCTION IN AUSTRALIA COMMISSION'S DECISION SYDNEY, June 9. (Received June 10, at 1 a.m.) Following the recent inquiry into the price of bricks, when it was elicited that brickmakers had a method of controlling stocks, the Premier, Mr B. S. Stevens, ordered the Industrial Commission to fix the price after hearing evidence concerning manufacturing costs. Mr Justice Debaun to-day fixed the price of common bricks at 58s 6d per thousand, representing a reduction of 9s 6d, and the price of face bricks at 94s a thousand, being a reduction of 24s a thousand on current prices.
