OAMARU GOLF BALL
Golfers and their friends forgathered at the Scottish Hall, Oamaru, last week for the North Otago Golf Club's annual ball. From every point of view the function was an outstanding success. Mr Horace McDowell (president of the club) and Mrs McDowell received the guests. Dancers executed with creditable skill the "Lambeth Walk" and " Palais Glide," but were more at home in the long driving competitions, which were won by Mr David Williams, of Oamaru, and Mrs F.
