OFFICIAL FORECAST COLDER TEMPERATURES PROBABLE The following is the official weather Pressure is still low over the Dominion, and a secondary depression is approaching from the west. Over Eastern Australia, pressure is rising. Indications are for:— Winds.—Light to moderate and vanable at first, but south-westerlies setting in to-morrow, and becoming strong in many places. Seas.—New Zealand waters: Mainly slight to moderate, but later rising on the West Coast and about Cook and Foveaux Straits. Easern Tasman Sea: Moderate to strong south-westerly winds, reaching gale force in places: seas becoming rough. Weather.—Still rather changeable, with occasional rain in most parts, but comparatively little in eastern districts; temperatures beaming colder. WEATHER IN DUNEDIN Bright sunshine and mild temperatures were again experienced in Dunedin yesterday. There was an almost complete absence of wind, and the maximum temperature wes 58 degrees. The barometer remained comparatively steady in the vicinity of 29.61 inches. There was a hard frost last night. Conditions during the morning were fine, but the remainder of the day was cloudy, with showers, the wind being moderate from the north.. The maximum temperature was 62 degrees. The barometric pressure was very low, with a reeding at 5 p.m. of 29.53 inches, or 1000 millibars. WELLINGTON, June 9. " The weather to-day was fine and sunny, with for the most part little cloud. There was a light northerly breeze in the morning, but it turned to a southerly in the afternoon. The minimum temperature last night was 49.2 degrees, and the maximum to-day 62.0 degrees.
