High School Baths The question of constructing school baths for the use of pupils of the Gore High School was discussed at a meeting of the Parents' Association, and a decision was reached to proceed with the undertaking as soon as possible. It was agreed to discuss the matter with the members of the Board of Governors in order to reach finality regarding the site on the hostel area. The secretary reported that there had been a splendid response to the appeal for funds, and already £52 had been collected. The opinion was expressed that the baths should not be for the exclusive use of the pupils of the Gore High School, and a Recommendation was made that until such time as public baths were provided they should be made available to recognised organisations. A decision was reached to approach the various organisations in the town with a view to securing support for the project.
