PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Municipal Motor Testing Station, Anderson's Bay road, will be open for the testing of Motor Vehicles for the issue of Warrants of Fitness as from Monday, June 12, 1939. The authority for motor vehicle testing and the issue of Warrants of Fitness hitherto exercised by privately owned Motor Garages ceases as from Tune 10, instant, and all such authority is thereupon vested solely in the City Council as the Authority for the Dunedin Transport District, which comprises all that area situated within the boundaries of the Dunedin City, the boroughs of Green Island, Port Chalmers, West Harbour and St. Kilda, the Peninsula County, and also the area of the No. 225 Main Highway from nunedin to Port Chalmers.
