THE CHEESE AWARDS WYNDHAM FACTORY’S SUCCESS $ 1 (Per United Press Association! 'j PALMERSTON N.. June 8. “ There was an increase in the number of exhibits staged this year," said the judges of the cheese classes at the National Dairy Show. “ The quality generally was up to the standard of the previous show, the winning exhibits being exceptionally good. Although most cheeses were free from mechanical openness, many showed evidence of slitty and shattered texture. The flavour, With few exceptions, was satisfactory. Comment has previously been made concerning, the lack of attention given to finish, and this defect was again in evidence, a number of the entries being penalised on this account.” .
