RANFURLY CLUB Owing to the holiday, the attendance at the weekly shoot of the Ranfurly Miniature Ride Club, held on Monday night, was much below the usual. The average for the first 10 men was 70.2. The rifle button was won by J. C. Kearney, who scored a possible, his second for the season. The handicap button was not finalised. The details were as follows: —J. C. Kearney 80 —1 -80, R. Murphy 65—15—80. KYEBURN CLUB The weekly shoot of the Kyeburn Miniature Rifle Club was held on the club range on Tuesday, when there was an attendance of 21 shooters. The standard of shooting showed an improvement on previous shoots, and the top 10 men’s average was 77. G. Creighton won the Preston button for the best rifle score with 79, and R. Scott took the J. B. Hislop handicap button after putting up a good performance in the double shoot-off. Thirteen riflemen secured 80 with handicap. The details were as follows:—G. Creighton 79, W. Cameron 78, R.
