WRESTLING

PAUL BOESCH v. JIM CLARK Jim Clark, prominent ScottishAmerican wrestler, will make his first appearance in Dunedin to-morrow night, when he will meet Paul Boesch in a professional heavy-weight bout at the Town Hall. Clark was one of the first men to be brought to the Dominion this year, and was largely responsible for the enthusiasm with which the season opened. He spent

six months at "Farmer" Burns's training camp and then embarked upon his career in earnest about eight years ago. He did not neglect any opportunities of improving his wrestling, and trained under the eyes of veterans such as Al Haft and Paul Bowser. Clark's record includes wins over George Zaharias, Gus Sonnenburg, Danno O'Mahoney, and the Dusek brothers At sft Uin and nearly 17 stone, he is an inch or two shorter and a few pounds heavier than Boesch, whose weight is nearly a stone heavier than it was when he was here three years ago. Boesch has displayed brilliant form in matches since he arrived, and his many local followers will be glad to see him in action again. Further particulars are advertised.
