SAFE PLACES
SCHEME FOR WELLINGTON DRESSING STATIONS ARRANGED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 17. Twenty-one places in Wellington have been chosen by a committee established under the city’s emergency precautions scheme for use as advanced dressing stations in the event of a national emergency or disaster. It is proposed to hold rehearsals in the near future so that first aid workers will be familiar with the conditions under which they will have to work if an emergency arises. A number of sites selected are schools, approval being given by the Wellington Education Board.
