DAIRY WORKERS
CONCILIATION COUNCIL HEARING NO AGREEMENT REACHED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 17. For most of the day the Conciliation Council proceedings in connection with the dairy workers’ dispute were in committee. Proposals and counter-proposals for clauses covering hours were made but agreement was not reached on any important point. The council proceeded to the discussion of other clauses shortly before it adjourned until to-morrow.
