MANAWATU SHOW
"MISS NEW ZEALAND” CONTEST (Per United Press Association) PALMERSTON N., Nov. 3. The Spring Show of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P Association opened in drizzling rain, but the weather gave indications of an improvement. Entries were large in all sections, and the stock classes included many of the leading animals from the Royal Show. The exhibition will close on Saturday, when the final of the “ Miss New Zealand ” beauty contest will be decided at a carnival.
