RADIANT HEALTH CLUB

A meeting of the Radiant Health Club was held on Monday afternoon. The president (Mrs Brooks) spoke of the recent prominence given to the question of right thinking and right eating for health. She spoke of the value of educating the people in the study of food values and combinations, pointing out that the continuance of hospital extensions and increased sickness called for a more intelligent solution to the problem. It was an individual and national question. Dr Gunson, of Auckland, Dr Ulric Williams, of Wanganui, and many others were agreed that the hospitals could be emptied in a short time if people would educate themselves in the matter. A paper by a Sydney specialist on the same question was read, and Mrs Gilbert also read an article by Dr Hay.
