SALE OF WORK

ALL SAINTS’ GUILD The annual sale of work of AH Saints’ Church Guild was held yesterday, the proceeds being in aid of the church funds. The well-stocked stalls were freely patronised during the day and business was brisk. At the evening session the play “Cricket,” a comedy written by Mr C. R. Allen, was presented, the players taking part being Misses Joy Knowles, Billie Loan, Annie Hoseit and Norma Brown, Messrs D. Skene, K. Stewart, and Master Arthur Snerriff. • The stallholders were: Guild stall — Mesdames R. Ritchie, Cogan, McClelland. and Miss Orbell; kitchen, Mes? dames White and Lilley; books, Misses J. and D. Ritchie; variety, Mesdames Robertson and Wilson: produce—Mesdames Reeves, McKenzie and Cook; flowers —Misses Allen, Hoddinott and Reeves; bran tub, Misses Jarvis and Wilson: refreshments —Misses Whitehead, Stokes, Lake, Mrs Cooper, and/ assistants; sweets.
