SPREAD OF DISAFFECTION PARTIAL AGREEMENT REACHED NEW YORK, April 9. (Received April 11, at 8 p.m.) The gravediggers' " sit-down" strike has spread to the Catholic Cemetery at New York. Eight burials were scheduled to-day. but only two graves were dug. A child's coffin was left in an open grave for more than an hour before it was covered by volunteers. Their wage demands were, latei granted, but the strikers refused to work until a settlement was reached at North Arlington. They agreed to leave the cemetery, but said they would institute pickets to-morrow.
