THE STORK DERBY
VALIDITY OF BEQUEST * UPHELD BY COURT TORONTO, Nov. 20. Mr Justice Middleton ruled the Stork Derby clause in the Millar will valid, but that the prize is intended for mothers of legitimate children only. The judgment rules out claims by relatives that the Derby was against public policy or would encourage immorality. Later Mr Justice Middleton will hear evidence on the claims of leading mothers and will direct the distribution of the funds.
