TWIN DOCTORS CRASH

Twin doctors were recently seriously injured as a result of an aeroplane crash neath, Hythe,' Kent. They are Dr Norman Grellier and Dr Bernard Grellier, of Hastings, both members of the Cinque Ports Flying" Club, and they were flying in one of the club’s instructional machines. ■

Aged about 45, they hold “A” licences, having qualified on the same day about 18 months ago.’ When flying over Hythe Hill, on the main London road, their machine crashed from about 100 feet into a rising bank. When eye-witnesses dashed to the scene both brothers were still conscious and each thought first of. the other’s plight. “Is my brother all right? ” they asked, as they were being taken to hospital. Dr Normal Grellier, who had been piloting the machine, received a badljlbroken nose, several cuts, and severe concussion. His brother had a broken kneecap and concussion. At the hospital they were put in beds next to each other. Both doctors won the Military Cross- during the war and are so alike that it is difficult to tell one from the other.
