THE PLANTICIAN
At the bookshops has appeared what would seem even to those with the most rudimentary ideas on gardening—to be an excellent garden magazine. In every sense the Plantician is said to be a fine art production, and its well designed cover of delphinium blue and excellent paper are not the least of its attractions. Inside, the reader is introduced to many strange plants from the ends of the earth —alpines and cacti, annuals and perennials, bugs, vegetables and travels, all have their place, enhanced by excellent photographs. The articles on native plants are a special feature. It is authoritative without being technical, simple but not trivial; whether the garden be measured in acres or pots, enthusiasts should like this production.
