NEW ZEALAND’S IMPROVEMENT £8 18s PER HEAD. (From Our Own Correspondent) (By Air Mail) LONDON, February 22. Empire countries were responsible for 03 per cent, of the improvement in Britain's total export trade during 1935, according to the January Board of Trade returns. The United Kingdom's exports to British countries* amounted to £204,313,937, an increase of £18,740,923 on 1934. Her exports to foreign countries totalled £221,007,380, _an increase of £11.194,809 on the previous year. New Zealand improved her position as Britain’s best customer in proportion to population. Her average purchase per head of British goods was £8 18s 2d, an increase of £1 5s 7d on 1934.
