COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 19. Seven charges of stealing money from (he Government Tourist Bureau were admitted by Leonard Bruce Wright, aged 22, a clerk in the employ of the bureau, who appeared in the Police Court to-day before Mr W. R. M'Kean, S.M. The thefts were committed between December 18, 1935, and February 6, and the total amount involved was £2O 10s 2d. James Muleahy, Government audit inspector, said lie examined the accounts of the Tourist Office at Auckland and found certain discrepancies in the books under the control of the accused. The accused was committed for sentence.
