In the last over of the day Australia secured the required runs to exceed Western Province's total score and to win with eight wickets in hand. Georgcu and Steyn wielded lusty bats in a partnership which produced 104 runs, enabling Western Province to wipe off the arrears in the match and setting Australia 63 runs to get in 38 minutes.
