FORESTERS

The fortnightly meeting of Court Excelsior, No. 6128, A.0.F.. was held on Tuesday last, when the C.R. (Bro. W. M. M'Mhin) presided over a full attendance of officers and a good attendance of members. The court was in mourning for Bro. G. 11. Curie, who passed away last week in Queenstown after a lengthy illness. Thanks wore expressed to_ Court Pride of the Lcith for having initiated a member on behalf of Court Excelsior. The nomination of officers for next term took place, and P.C.K. Bros W. R. G. Mourns, F. B. Smith, and J. C. S. M'Mhin wore elected as delegates lo the U.F.S. Dispensary Committee. One proposition for membership was received, and, following tho close of the meeting, the final round of the fourth series of euchre for the H. L. Thomson Cup was played and resulted in P.C.K. Bro, E. J. Palton being declared the winner after a play-off was necessary.
