ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
MOTOR CAR OVERTURNS TWO CHILDREN INJURED. Two childreu —Allan Smith, aged eight years, and David Boock, aged three years —were admitted to the Hospital last evening, the former suffering from head injuries and the latter from a fractured right leg. The injuries were received when a motor car, driven by Mr b\ C. Smith, of Young street. South Duuedin, overturned as it was coining'down the Kilmog Hill towards Evansdale. The accident was discovered by a passing motorist, who brought the two children to edin.INJURIES TO BACK A youth named Allan M'!,ean, 15 years of age. residing at 8 Aniey street. South Dunedin, sull'ered injuries* to his back as a result of a fall while playing on the sandhills at St. Kilda last evening. He was admitted to the Hospital at 7.40. YOUNG MAN DROWNED (Per United Press Association) AUCKLAND, October 28. Noel Denichey, single, aged 21, was drowned at Narrow Neck Beach during his first swim of the season this morning. He was a motor body builder by occupa tion, and had lived at Auckland for six years, being formerly of New Plymouth. A FISHING TRAGEDY (Per United Press Association) NELSON. October 28. Hector William Gordon Robertson, ago'-} 32, a married man with one child, waa drowned this morning at Glen Wakapuaka when a email boat from which he and a companion (Percy M'Conchie) intended to fish was swamped. M'Conchie reached the shore in an exhausted condition.
