OTAGO BRIDGES
THE SUPPLEMENTARY ESTIMATES ADDITIONAL GRANTS MADE (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, October 25. The sum of £IOOO is provided in the Supplementary Estimates, which were presented in the Home of Representatives to-night, towards the construction of the bridge over the Molyneux River at Clydevale. It is pointed out that part of the sum is recoverable from the Unemployment Fund and that the local bodies are to contribute towards tbe cost. A similar sum of £IOOO is set down on account as a £2 for £1 subsidy for the bridge over the Clutha River at Lowburn Ferry. A sum of £SOO is provided on similar terms for the Manuberikia River bridge at Omakau.
