CROSS-COUNTRY RUNNING AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. .{United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph— Copyright) SYDNEY. July 24. The New; South Wales Amateur Athletic Association to-day cabled New Zealand accepting the offer to send a team to compete in the Australian Cross-conn-try Championship. Mr Heathwood stated that the offers to provide accommodation for the visitors made-by local athletes removed the only obstacle to acceptance of the visit. As the New Zealanders cannot hold the Australian title, a test race between Australia and Jsew Zealand is likely to be run in conjunction with the championship.
