(Received July 24, at 10.15 p.m.) Sydney's champion hurdler, Green Sea, established a record when he carried 13.12 to victory in the Brush Hurdle, in which victory in the Brush Hurdle, in which he conceded each of his three opponents over four stone. Green Sea, who covered a mile and a-half in 2min 43sec, received a wonderful ovation from the crowd. Dual Ratio comfortably won the Maiden Handicap for three and four-year-olds, in which 25 started, including Viking, who was unplaced. Mananni and Cavalcade Mere unplaced in the Flying Welter; Limbohm, Cockpen, and Samovar were unplaced in the Rosehill Handicap, and Limoux waa fourth in the Carlingford Mile.
