EVENING MEETING The weekly sports meeting of. the Otao-o Centre, New Zealand Athletic Association, was held at the Caledonian Grounds last evening. The ground was in good order, but a strong breeze from the bay end of the grounds was not conductive to fast times in the sprint events. There were good entries in all the events, and some fine finishes were witnessed. The following are the results. 100 YARDS 1 LADIES' HANDICAP. H. Ferguson (4§yds) .... 1 I. Fogarty (4£yds) .. .. 2 A. Anderson took the lead going down the back and. led into the straight! -R. M'Lachlan challenged, and, in a good finish, won by a yard, with three,yards separating second and third. Time, 51 2-ssec. Witli three laps to go Ralston led TempletOu, Sivertsen and Laws, with the rest of the field 20 yards back. At the bell Sivertsen and Ralston led by 20 yards.
