The function was held in the Midland Hotel, a large number of representatives of the provision trade being present. The Lord Mayor (Captain A. W. Brown, M.8.E., J.P.) and the Lady Mayoress attended to present the prizes, and Mr H. E. Davis (Dairy Board) was in the chair. Captain Brown, who, with Mrs Brown, had been in New Zealand, spoke intimately of the Dominion, and congratulated the board an its efforts to popularise New Zealand produce in Bradford. The board has had a very successful campaign. As an indication of this, 0500 butter samples were sold at the New Zealand shop during the first week, and 101 retailers entered for the window dressing competition.
